NEW FORMAT OF STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP (on occasion of AEROINDIA 2007

From 7 to 11 February 2007 the Yelakhanka airbase near Bangalore hosts the 6th AeroIndia'2007 International Aerospace&Defence. This one of the most significant aerospace shows of the Asian-Pacific region promises to be the greatest in the history of AeroIndia. As against last year’s show, the quantity of the participants has increased by 40%. Over 270 international and about 200 Indian companies present their production within the exhibition area of 48 thousand sq.m. Leading of aviation producers are determined to enter the competing rivalry for the largest contracts concerned with armament and defence equipment in the framework of the modernization of the Indian Air Forces. Many countries of the region show interest in modern samples of combat jets and helicopters, armament, avionics and modernization of the military equipment.

Russia Will Use Gabala Radar - Space Forces Representative

Russia's Space Forces will not give up using the Gabala radar in Azerbaijan, the forces' spokesman said, commenting on media reports that Russia could soon abandon the site. "The activity of the Space Forces is aimed at all radars eventually being on Russian territory. But we do not intend to give up the agreement on the use of the Gabala ahead of time," Alexei Zolotukhin said.

Boeing Projects 70 Billion Dollar Market For Russia And The CIS

Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will require 1,060 new airplanes worth about $70 billion over the next 20 years, according to Boeing's updated annual forecast for the commercial airplane market. Russia plans manned Moon mission by 2025
